  1. I’m never sure if I should purchase the shorts after I read them free on your web site. I do not want to miss even one word!

    1. Hi Helen,
There are no “additional words” in the for-purchase individual short stories. In the collected stories in the “Ides of Matt -2014” volume, each story picks up a new introductions explaining where the story came from, but the story itself remains intact. Thanks for letting me know that you like them so much…I mean, normally I hate smiling, but 🙂 🙂 🙂

      1. Well, I always think you’ve outdone yourself with every new addition – and then I get a new one. I have come to belueve that you must be superhuman.
Not much of a word smith myself, I have difficulty explaining how much I look forward to The Ides as well as almost every word you print.
I have tried the sci fi editions without much enjoyment but I refuse to give up.
Thank you for your amazing talent.

    1. Hi Faith,
If all goes according to plan, the 2015 collection will be out October 2016 in time for Christmas…just a year after the 2014 collection. So glad you’re enjoying them!

  3. Matt you have done it again!! I can’t wait for the 14th of the month. Your people are amazingly real. So in that note you have made me aware of the firefighters facing danger every day and I offer up prayers for their safety. See you next month.
